Last month, Grayson became the first business of its type to be certified as ‘Carbon Neutral’. This fantastic achievement once again underlines our market-leading position.
We have achieved this via the internationally recognised PAS 2060 process. PAS 2060 is a specification standard detailing how to demonstrate carbon neutrality, produced and published by the British Standards Institution (BSI). In our opinion, this is the strongest and clearest way to demonstrate genuine carbon neutrality.
Our PAS 2060 accreditation and accompanying UKAS third-party certification result from four years of significant change and improvement across the business.
UK construction is rapidly evolving, and Grayson (GB) Ltd are proud to be at the very forefront of this evolution.
In 2020, after becoming the first in our sector to achieve ‘Zero Waste To Landfill’ status, the directors, senior managers, and staff made a clear and unambiguous commitment to become completely carbon neutral by May 2024. Although the path was far from easy, we are proud to say, “Together, we achieved our commitment.”
