What is Murfor Compact and how does it work?
Designed for structural reinforced masonry applications, each 30m roll consists of a sturdy steel cord mesh and interwoven fibreglass roving. When rolled out onto masonry joints, it helps to strengthen wall panels from loads and stress, including:

The performance of Murfor Compact is comparable to conventional welded bed joint reinforcement for structural use in EN 845-3 and comes with a wide range of benefits. These include:
Accommodates any wall width
Murfor Compact E comes in a width of 35mm and 70mm and is made from stainless steel, making it ideal for exterior masonry. Murfor Compact I comes in a width of 50mm and 100mm and is made from galvanised steel, making it suitable for masonry in dry, interior environments.
These two width options can be easily combined to reinforce any wall width. That’s why it’s such a convenient and versatile product to keep on site.
Quick and easy to install
One of the greatest benefits of Murfor Compact is how quick and easy it is to install. Just unroll it onto the block, cut it to size, apply a layer of mortar and place the next block on top. Better yet, you only need to overlap the product when starting a new roll, which means much less wastage.

Weighing less than 3kg, each roll is lightweight and easy to lift and carry around site. It’s also extremely safe to handle as the steel cord roll is smooth to the touch, thus reducing the risk of injury.

Murfor Compact rolls are easily transportable thanks to their low volume and lightweight nature. Storing is also a breeze as the rolls are packed in 30 x 30 x 30cm cardboard boxes.
