The GT4 Type 4 Housing Tie is engineered to provide a dependable performance in domestic buildings, with inner and outer leaves of similar thickness. Manufactured from high-grade stainless steel and featuring and multidrip design to prevent moisture crossing the cavity, the Grayson GT4 Type 4 Housing Tie offers long-lasting durability, effective thermal performance, and full compliance with BS EN 845-1 standards.
Application – Suitable for box-form domestic dwellings with inner and outer leaves of similar thickness. Ideal for buildings up to 10 m in height and flat sites where the basic wind speed does not exceed 27 m/s and altitude is no more than 150 m above sea level.
Design – Features a multidrip design to prevent moisture crossing the cavity, and can be installed in either orientation.
Material – Made from grade 304 stainless steel.
Fire Rating – Non-combustible, as defined by national Building Regulations.
Durability – Provides excellent corrosion resistance with a service life of at least 60 years.
Thermal performance – Effectively resists thermal transmittance through the cavity where thermal losses through ties are a consideration.
